Symptoms


You may have some or all of these symptoms

Some women with significant endometriosis have no symptoms. 
Some women with mild endometriosis have many symptoms.

Pain:
  • pain before, during or after a period
  • pain during or after intercourse, especially with deep penetration
  • pain with a full bladder
  • pain in the lower bowel during a period
Period Problems:
  • heavy bleeding
  • bleeding between periods
  • irregular cycles
Bladder Problems:
  • the need to pass urine more frequently
Bowel Problems:
  • bleeding from the bowel, especially during a period
  • pain in the lower bowel during a period
  • constipation
  • incomplete emptying of the bowel

Sexual Discomort
  • pain during or after intercourse, especially with deep penetration
Infertility:
  • delay in getting pregnant
Other Symptoms:
  • lethargy
  • irritability
  • depression
  • absenteeism from school/work
